Optily uses the Google Analytics eCommerce value selected during OptiGroup creation to optimize your campaigns. The values can be:

  1. Optimize Revenue (Analytics-Reported - weighs six different metrics)

  2. Highest ROAS (Return on Ad Spend)

  3. Lowest Cost Per Transaction (irrespective of value)

  4. Best Conversion Rate*

*conversion rate (from Google Analytics) is calculated as the number of transactions divided by the number of sessions, times 100.

If a campaign has not yet generated any volume for its primary goal, Optily will then focus on achieving its secondary goals. For example, if you are using a "rare" primary goal (so a small volume/high-value goal like a website conversion for a purchase with a long consideration period), Optily will optimize against Link Click and Impressions values from the campaign instead.
